Welcome To The Hunter Valley Finch Club

The Club was formed on the 1st of June 2001 as a way to bring together anyone interested in keeping and breeding all types of Finches and to exchange information with individuals, groups or other clubs.

MEETINGS.

The Hunter Valley Finch Club Inc meets regularly on the first Friday of the month at

Shamrock Hill Multipurpose Centre, 18 Galway Bay Drive, Ashtonfield NSW.

There is no meeting in January.

Meetings begin at 7.30pm, with a guest speaker presenting a talk of interest to people keeping finches and soft-bills. The regular meetings are conducted after the guest speaker. Raffles and supper are held at the conclusion of the meeting.

There is a raffle held every meeting with a variety of prizes on offer and a special draw for a bag of seed.

A lucky door prize of a pair of finches is offered for attending members. The club also holds bus trips to aviaries or places of interest  and is heavily involved in supporting the "Save the Gouldian Fund". The club conducts an annual bird Expo in October each year that has proved to be extremely popular since it's inception.

VISITORS WELCOME

Visitors are most welcome to attend a couple of meetings to get to know the members and decide if they would like to join....please feel free to drop in to a meeting and say hello.
